This year's anniversary meeting of the Austrian Society for Surgical Research, which is being organized jointly with the Center for Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna, is being held to celebrate the Society's 50th anniversary.
To mark this occasion, we are delighted to be able to present you with an anniversary publication as part of the conference, in addition to a look back at the history of the society and discussions with honorary members.
The scientific theme of the congress is "Medical implants: Developments and Biocompatibility".
