Anna-Maria Schmitt, a master's student in the group of Prof. Bergmeister, won this year's Carl Apstein Award at the 28. Conference on Endothelium in combination with the 10th Cardiovascular Research Days in Krakow. She was awarded the Best Poster Award for her work titled "Development of a perivascular adipose tissue mimicking hydrogel to study vascular graft healing in-vitro".
