Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to our anniversary symposium. I am especially delighted that we will also be celebrating Udo Losert’s 80th birthday on this occasion.

As outlined in the enclosed program, we will reflect on the "Highlights of 33 Years of the Center for Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery." In addition, we will engage in discussions with our international guests on topics including training and education, emerging research fields, and new medical devices and materials.

After 10 years as head of the center, I would like to conclude by daring to look into the future with you.

We look forward to seeing you!

On behalf of the Center for Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery team,

Bruno K. Podesser
