Since 2015 we have started the „Biomedical Summer School“. Our goal is to create a platform for students from different universities that are interested in biomedical research at an early stage of their career.
In 2 weeks we try to address major aspects of cardiovascular research. In the morning we lay the theoretical backgrounds whereas in the afternoon practical experience can be gained. The Biomedical Summer School tries to touch upon the following areas: basics in cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology, myocardial ischemia and reperfusion, vascular function, cell culture, 3D printing, basics in animal handling and animal welfare, etc. Only a limited number of students is accepted every year.
The period of the Summer School is announced annually in the Easter period. Please note our contributions in the News section.

Due to a limited number of participants, we kindly ask interested parties to register by sending your application including your CV via E-Mail to Karina Huber.
