Hybrid-OP
The new hybrid OR at the Center for Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna is situated in our new research facility in Himberg, 30 min outside of Vienna; it is conveniently situated 15 min away from the International Airport of Vienna.
It is equipped with high-fidelity hardware such as a 128 slide CT Somatom and an Artis Zeego angiography, both Siemens. Additionally, a Siemens Acuson US system and state-of-the-art monitoring as well as a heart lung machine for large animal experiments are available.
The animal house is according to current EU legal requirements and highly motivated professional staff will support your research.
The facility provides latest transmission equipment to perform training and testing of new devices and is open for academic and industrial partners.
